Job description
Overview

3 day week Nanny in Banbury Oxfordshire 856867

This busy family is looking for a kind, capable and experienced nanny to care for three children: two girls aged 8 and 3, and a boy aged 5. They also have a friendly dog. The family lives north of Banbury; the eldest two children attend school in Warwick, and the youngest will start pre-school there in September. The role is predominantly after school and part time, with a mix of sole charge and shared care. The family spends part of the week working from home in a designated office space and needs a nanny who is organized and able to use initiative.

Excellent communication skills, including fluent English, are essential. The role will include some school pickups and a clean driver’s license with access to your own car. The nanny will support homework and engage the children in play, and experience with primary school-aged children is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will be able to prepare simple dinners for the children. A proactive approach to keeping the house in order is essential. Light housekeeping during quiet times (general tidying of communal areas, loading/unloading the dishwasher and washing machine, receiving deliveries, etc.) is expected. The family has a cleaner but would appreciate help with light duties.

They are looking for someone who loves dogs and would be happy to take the dog to the local park for a run either before a school pickup or with the children during school holidays, and who would stay with the family long term.

Please get in touch for more details.
