Job summary

A leading childcare agency in Newbury is seeking a caring and proactive Nanny to work three flexible days a week with two children, a 9-month-old and a 2.5-year-old. The ideal candidate will have child care qualifications and at least two years of experience working with young children. Responsibilities include drop-off and pick-up from nursery, meal planning, engaging in fun and age-appropriate activities, and general nursery duties. The salary is £18 gross per hour, with a car provided for use while on duty.

This professional family based in Ashmore Green in Newbury Berkshire are looking for a sole charge Nanny to work 3 days a week for their 9-month-old and 2.5-year-old. The family can be flexible what 3 days are worked for the right Nanny and the role is to start in February.

They are looking for an experienced, qualified nanny, who genuinely loves working with young children, is nurturing and kind and proactive. The hours are 6.30am-5.30pm and the salary is £18 gross an hour (£30,888 Gross per annum) depending on experience.

Nanny also needs to be a driver, and a car can be provided for use on duty. The 2.5-year-old attends nursery until 4pm so drop off in the morning and picking up in the afternoon is part of this lovely role, leaving most of the day to primarily care and focus on the 9-month-old. The role involves usual nursery duties, cooking and planning meals along with planning age-appropriate fun activities at home and local activities outside of the home to encourage them to thrive, grow and learn.

A Nanny that enjoys the outdoors and going to local activities and organised classes, reading stories, being fun, creative, and caring would be a fantastic fit for this lovely, long-term role.
