Job description

Machine Learning & Data Engineering Tutor & Marker

Deliver high‑quality teaching and learning at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, reflecting the current skill and capability requirements of corporate employers. The role is based at BPP Education Group, primarily delivered online via the Adobe Connect platform. Teaching hours are Monday – Friday, 9.00 a.m. – 5.00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities

• Design curriculum and course content for machine learning, artificial intelligence and data engineering subjects.
• Develop assessment materials, mark student work, and supervise student projects.
• Manage student cohorts and provide academic support and mentoring.
• Deliver lectures and tutorials online through Adobe Connect.
• Collaborate with the BPP specialist team to keep teaching materials up to date and aligned with industry practice.

Qualifications

• Level 7 qualification or equivalent.
• Teaching qualification or Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (HEA). If not held, a commitment to attain one through BPP’s PGCLT or HEA scheme.
• Professional experience in industry and academic experience working in higher education.

Experience

• Previous teaching experience, preferably online.
