A leading healthcare organization in Stranraer is seeking a Band 5 Registered Nurse for the Dalrymple ward at Galloway Community Hospital. This role involves providing care to older adults and requires essential clinical experience in rehabilitation. The nurse will work within a multidisciplinary team, managing both day and night shifts, while being encouraged to pursue professional development. A positive, can-do attitude is necessary, along with multitasking abilities in a busy environment. The position offers opportunities for skill enhancement and teamwork.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent Band 5 Registered Nurse within the Dalrymple ward at the Galloway Community Hospital.
Dalrymple ward is a 26 Bedded unit which delivers care of older adult, rehabilitation and palliative care.
You will have the opportunity to work with innovative team members within the multidisciplinary environment, you will work collaboratively across the unit, while being supported, encouraged and appreciated in your role.
There will be opportunities for enhancing your skills, through additional training and development which we offer and encourage. Clinical Experience within rehabilitation and care of the elderly setting is essential.
Experience in People Management and Managing Change is desirable for this position and an enthusiasm for developing new initiatives within the Clinical Area is essential for this role.
We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic Individual that displays a “Can Do” attitude to join our team.
You must also have the ability to multi task and carry out assigned tasks effectively in a busy environment.
This is a rotational day and nightshift post where predominantly the shifts are 11.5 hrs.
