Job Overview

2-day week Nanny required in Thame, Oxfordshire. This friendly professional family is looking for a sole charge/shared care Nanny to work 2 days a week on Mondays and Wednesdays for their happy 9-month-old, starting in January.

The hours are 9am-3pm and the salary is between £18-£25 gross an hour (£11,232–£15,600 gross per annum depending on experience). A calm, warm, down-to-earth nanny who loves babies, enjoys walks and organised classes would be a fantastic fit. Usual nursery duties and some light housekeeping will also be required while the baby naps.

Responsibilities

• Provide caring and nurturing care for a 9-month-old baby.
• Independently manage the baby’s routine, including feeding, napping, walks and organised activities.
• Carry out light housekeeping tasks during the baby’s nap time.
• Ensure a safe and welcoming environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of experience caring for babies of similar age.
• Childcare qualifications are essential.
• Valid Driver’s Licence and reliable transportation.
• Up-to-date DBS on the update service and 12-hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• Minimum of two professional referees, one of which must be the applicant’s current or last employer, who are immediately contactable.
• Familiar with pet care (one friendly dog in the household).
