1st Line Support Engineer - Brighton | MSP Environment

We\'re working with a well-established Managed Service Provider (MSP) based in Brighton who is looking to add a 1st Line Support Engineer to their growing team. This is a full-time, on-site role with great training and progression opportunities.

The Role

You\'ll be the first point of contact for client IT issues - anything from password resets and Outlook hiccups to trickier troubleshooting. You\'ll work within a structured escalation process and be supported by a collaborative team. Perfect for someone with 6-18 months of IT support experience or a strong IT foundation looking to step into the MSP world.

What You\'ll Need
  • Good knowledge of Windows 10/11 troubleshooting
  • Experience or exposure to Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)
  • Understanding of Active Directory, basic networking, and remote support tools
  • Confident communicator (written & verbal)
  • A genuine enthusiasm for tech and problem-solving
Nice to Have (Not Essential)
  • IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Microsoft Fundamentals, etc.)
  • Prior MSP experience
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems (ConnectWise, Autotask, etc.)
