We’re seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Compliance Business Partner to support our First Line of Defence (1LoD) Risk and Compliance team during a 12-month interim period. This is a critical role within the organisation’s compliance framework, ensuring regulatory adherence across all insurance operations within a fast paced business.

We’re seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Compliance Business Partner to support our First Line of Defence (1LoD) Risk and Compliance team during a 12-month interim period. This is a critical role within the organisation’s compliance framework, ensuring regulatory adherence across all insurance operations within a fast paced business.

Responsibilities
  • Be a first point of contact for general compliance queries, to resolve quickly and efficiently
  • Guide and assist the business in delivering the correct outcomes for our customers whilst ensuring the appropriate balance between commercial interests of the business, the goals of the FCA and the interests of our customers
  • Monitor, review, and assess compliance with FCA regulations and internal policies
  • Support incident investigations and maintain accurate compliance documentation
  • Assist the team in managing notification of data incidents and breaches
Qualifications / Candidate Profile
  • Proven experience in a compliance, regulatory or risk-focused role (insurance experience highly preferred)
  • Familiarity with FCA guidelines and insurance-specific regulation
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively
  • Relevant qualification (e.g. ICA, CII, law degree) desirable but not essential
