Job description

Pertemps West Bromwich is seeking an experienced 18th Edition Electrician to join our dynamic team at a Multi‑National Construction company, based in Oldbury.

Specialising in prefab modules including plant boiler package systems, riser modules, shower, and bathroom pods for various private and commercial contracts such as hotels, accommodation, schools, prisons, and hospitals.

Skills and Requirements
  • 18th Edition BS 7671 requirements for electrical installation
  • Primary containment and secondary fix installation experience
  • Ability to work under own initiative and read from manufacturing drawings
  • 2391 would be advantageous but not essential
Duties
  • Conduct electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in accordance with industry standards and regulations
  • Perform electrical testing, fault finding, and diagnostics to identify issues and implement effective solutions
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures, electrical codes, and regulations

This work is on a large off‑site facility offering excellent working conditions.

Hours of Work
  • Monday – Thursday 07:30 am – 04:00 pm
  • Friday 07:30 am – 01:00 pm
Pay Rate
  • CIS – £21.76 per hour
  • PAYE – £16.98 per hour
