CMVM / School of Neurological and Cardiovascular Sciences, Institute for Neuroscience and Cardiovascular Research, UK DRI Centre for Vascular Dementia Research

Fixed-Term: 5 years

Full-time: 35 hours per week

The Opportunity

As a senior post-doctoral researcher in the newly launched UK DRI Centre for Vascular Dementia Research the post-holder will develop and lead a program of high-quality research to improve our understanding of cerebral small vessel disease pathophysiology and its contribution to neurodegeneration and dementia. This will include directing and carrying out research projects involving in vivo and ex vivo human MR imaging and brain tissue analysis, staff management, securing funding, and publishing research findings in high impact journals.

This post is full-time (35 hours per week).

The salary for this post is £50,253 - £61,759 per annum.
