A governmental body in the UK seeks a dedicated Probation Officer to manage offender risk and provide assessments to support criminal justice efforts. Responsibilities include supervising probationers, collaborating with courts and partner organizations, and ensuring adherence to policies. Ideal candidates will have experience in offender management and possess strong communication skills. This role is vital for protecting victims and creating safer communities, requiring professionalism and a commitment to justice.
Post holders will undertake the full range of offender management tasks with people on probation under supervision including assessment, sentence implementation and producing reports; utilising service procedures and practice directions to underpin professional judgement.
