Overview

11009-20 hour - Trainee Pharmacy Assistant – Fixed Term Contract

We are looking to recruit a 20-hour Trainee Pharmacy Assistant on a fixed term contract to work at our 450-branch located at 36A Braithwaite Road, Lowton, WA3 2HY.

The proposed shift pattern is as follows: Monday 09:00-14:00; Tuesday 09:00-14:00; Wednesday 09:00-14:00; Thursday 09:00-14:00.

Responsibilities
  • Duties will include the accurate dispensing and labelling of prescription items with guidance and supervision from the Pharmacist.
  • The successful candidate will also be responsible for assisting with the ordering and management of stock levels within the dispensary and the shop.
  • The utmost attention to detail is required in this role along with the ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines, and there is a desire to learn and progress your career in our business.
  • The successful candidate must have great people skills as this is paramount to your role and you will be required to work as part of a well-established team to ensure our customers receive a high standard of service.
Qualifications/Experience
  • This position is ideally suited to someone with previous customer service experience and who is willing to undertake the relevant training courses in order to progress.
  • Willingness to undertake the relevant training courses to gain the Counter Course and NVQ level 2 qualification in Dispensing.
