A leading technology company in Montpellier is seeking a Logistics Manager to oversee end-to-end logistics operations. This role involves managing customs clearance, transportation, warehousing, and supplier relationships. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in logistics, fluency in Chinese and French, and strong supplier management skills. This position offers an opportunity to drive supply chain optimization initiatives.

Qualifications

Description du poste
Scope of Responsibility
  • End-to-end management of local logistics operations (Customs → Warehousing → Delivery);
  • Oversee both B2B large-scale fulfillment and B2C last-mile delivery;
  • Collaborate with HQ line-haul logistics team to ensure seamless end-to-end delivery;
  • Drive supply chain digitalization and process optimization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Customs & Compliance
    • Manage import customs clearance processes, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations;
    • Supervise customs service providers, liaise with customs authorities, brokers, and government agencies, resolve issues quickly, and continuously improve clearance efficiency.
  • Local Transportation & Delivery
    • Plan and manage local transportation and delivery (B2B & B2C), ensuring service timeliness and customer satisfaction;
    • Optimize delivery routes and carrier collaboration models, working with procurement to reduce costs;
    • Ensure safe, on-time delivery of goods and proper management of Proof of Delivery (POD).
  • Warehousing & Inventory Management
    • Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, dispatch, returns, and stocktaking;
    • Optimize WMS usage and processes to ensure accuracy and inventory turnover;
    • Ensure warehouse readiness to support timely stock availability.
  • Supplier Management
    • Manage customs, warehousing, and delivery vendors by setting clear objectives and conducting performance evaluations;
    • Collaborate with procurement to establish a supplier pool with defined efficiency and cost baselines.
  • Process Optimization & Data Analysis
    • Regularly analyze logistics KPIs (cost, lead time, fulfillment rate, customer satisfaction) and implement improvement actions;
    • Promote digital tools to enhance transparency and control, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and reliability of operations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or International Trade;
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in logistics or supply chain, with background in cross-border e-commerce, retail, or manufacturing preferred;
  • Strong knowledge of customs clearance, local delivery, and warehouse management processes;
  • Hands-on experience managing both B2B and B2C logistics operations;
  • Strong supplier management, negotiation, and cost optimization skills;
  • Proficiency in WMS / TMS systems and data analysis tools (Excel / BI, etc.);
  • Demonstrated leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills;
  • Warehousing management experience is mandatory;
  • Fluent in Chinese and French, with English as a working language.
Nice to Have
  • Previous experience with leading 3PL / 4PL providers or multinational companies;
  • Familiarity with logistics regulations and last-mile delivery models in Europe / North America;
  • Professional certifications such as APICS CSCP / CLTD, PMP.
