Overview

Context - Team description

Within Murex, the presales team gathers product and service experts to enable Murex to sell its MX.3 offerings to financial institutions. Presales consultants work closely with business developers and client managers to provide accurate answers to requirements from prospects or existing clients, to demonstrate the system\'s capabilities, to present the available service offers and to build the best value proposal to win deals. The presales team also produces and maintains artefacts allowing Murex to create a competitive edge over other vendors.

The presales team is organized by domain of expertise among Trading, Investment Management, Back-Office Operations & Finance (including Securities Finance), Enterprise Risk Management, Integration & Architecture and Professional Services. Presales operates across Europe, Middle East and Africa and sits at the crossroad of many functions within Murex, from Product Evolution teams to Client Service teams, ensuring a constant and valuable source of improvement for its members.

The Trading presales consultant is responsible for managing product-related aspects of sales processes on a set of asset classes supported by MX.3 (including carbon, commodities, credit, digital, equities, fixed income, FX, inflation, linear rates or non-linear rates) for a wide list of topics which can involve pre-trade, sales, pricing, structuring, trade-level risk management or life cycle management. The mission includes the following activities:

  • Mapping of requests from prospects / clients with the MX.3 product in the space of Trading and sharing opinion on product fit (qualification)
  • Providing high quality responses to RFIs (request for information) and RFPs (request for proposal)
  • Preparing and delivering impactful Murex MX.3 demos and workshops to prospects / clients
  • Ensuring transfer of detailed information from presales to the project team for won deals
  • Creating and maintaining overtime presales artefacts (knowledge bases, demo script, MX.3 value presentations, marketing materials, commercial catalogue ...)
  • Developing and maintaining high level of product knowledge
  • Provide inputs to Product Evolution teams on market trends and evolving requirements
  • Contribute to internal workstreams such as Go To Market campaigns
  • Travel as required
Profile
  • You are an MX.3 trading expert in one or more asset classes with a minimum of 5 years of Front Office experience
  • Strong interpersonal and cross-functional skills (ability to work with multiple teams)
  • Excellent communication (written and oral)
  • Excellent presentation skills (presales configuration / demo experience a real bonus)
  • Ability to absorb workload peaks with solution-oriented mind
  • Preferably has assisted on / completed an implementation of MX.3
  • Periods of travel required for demo and / or internal workshops
