The role requires over 10 years of experience in tax departments, strong knowledge of corporate taxation, VAT, and transfer pricing. Candidates must be fluent in French and English. This position involves collaboration with senior management and the implementation of tax strategies in a dynamic and international environment.

Reporting Line

Reports to the Group Tax Director.

Main Responsibilities

Reinforce the France Tax Team by sharing the France perimeter and supervising a pre‑existing team already highly autonomous.

Tax Compliance & Reporting
  • Monitor tax compliance processes for French entities, validate the corporate income tax returns (incl. group tax return) and other compliance requirements.
  • Manage and coordinate the French R&D tax credit process.
  • Implement the French electronic invoicing reform.
  • Review tax reporting packages and provide data to the Central Tax Team (tax audits and litigations, accruals, cash‑out, budgets, forecasts).
  • Contribute to the development, implementation and maintenance of the tax‑related policies and procedures.
Tax Advisory & Strategic Support
  • Provide proactive tax advice on various business projects involving the French entities of the Group (incl. M&A, reorganizations, intercompany agreements, cross‑border transactions…) covering corporate tax, VAT, withholding taxes, local taxes…
  • Advise on tax strategies.
  • Provide support on transfer pricing matters, including documentation and compliance.
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation and provide recommendations to Management on impact and compliance strategies.
Tax Audits & Litigation
  • Manage and coordinate tax audits and litigations in France.
  • Liaise with tax authorities and external advisors.
Internal Collaboration & Stakeholders Management
  • Partner with internal departments (Legal, Accounting, IT, HR, Operations…) to ensure business practices align with tax regulations and company policies.
  • Serve as a key advisor to Senior Management (Group Tax Director, Group CFO, Heads of Finance/Accounting…).
Education & Qualifications
  • Initial legal education background is required.
Professional Experience
  • 10+ years of experience in the tax department of an international group and/or a Big 4 firm.
  • Proven experience in tax compliance, advisory, audits and litigations.
  • Strong technical knowledge of corporate taxation, VAT, transfer pricing and international tax principles.
  • Hands‑on experience in implementing the French electronic invoicing reform.
  • A management experience is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and risk assessment skills.
  • Strong organizational, planning and project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple internal and external stakeholders and priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Curious, agile, proactive, resilient, and comfortable working in a dynamic, international environment.
Language Requirements

Fluent in French and English.
