The Role
As Store Manager – Saucony Le Marais, you’ll be the heartbeat of our Paris flagship.
You’ll lead the launch and daily operation of the store, driving commercial success while creating a guest experience that reflects Saucony’s community values.
You will :
- Recruit, coach and develop a passionate team of runners, conversationalists, community builders and “move makers”.
- Deliver exceptional service and store presentation standards that inspire trust, belonging and repeat visits.
- Act as the local brand ambassador — building partnerships with clubs, studios and creators to root Saucony in the Paris running community.
- Drive the business through smart, data-driven decision-making and an entrepreneurial mindset.
Key Responsibilities :
People
- Recruit, train and lead a high-performing team who embody Saucony’s values : authenticity, balance and community.
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative culture where everyone feels valued and empowered.
- Conduct regular coaching, performance reviews and development conversations.
- Develop a strong internal “bench” of future leaders — creating pathways for team members to progress into Assistant Manager, Store Manager or Head Office roles across Retail Ops, VM, Community Marketing and Planning.
- Identify individual strengths and aspirations, tailoring development plans that blend on-the-floor learning, project ownership and cross-functional exposure.
- Partner with the Retail Director and Retail Operations Manager to create structured learning opportunities that prepare the team for their next step, ensuring Saucony Paris becomes a recognised talent pipeline for the brand.
- Create a sense of pride and ownership among the team by encouraging them to live the brand — in and out of the store.
Guest Experience
- Deliver an exceptional, hospitality-driven retail experience that connects product, story and emotion.
- Lead by example in building authentic connections with guests — listening, advising and inspiring confidence in every conversation.
- Ensure the store environment (sound, scent, visuals and layout) delivers a sensory experience worthy of a premium brand.
- Uphold operational excellence to ensure every guest interaction is seamless.
Community
- Build genuine relationships with local run clubs, studios and community groups to bring Saucony’s “Run as One” ethos to life.
- Plan and host weekly run clubs, workshops and activations that drive traffic, engagement and loyalty.
- Partner with the Community Marketing Rep’ to deliver locally relevant events and campaigns that tell authentic Parisian stories.
Commercial
- Own the store’s sales, profit and KPI performance — including traffic, conversion, ATV and UPT.
- Manage payroll and rota efficiency to deliver strong WTS (wages-to-sales) ratios.
- Work closely with the EMEA Retail Team, Merchandising and Planning on assortment, stock levels and visual execution.
- Analyse business results weekly and implement strategies to exceed targets.
Operations
- Ensure compliance with company policies, brand standards and French retail legislation.
- Maintain exceptional standards in VM, health & safety and operational execution.
- Support the successful launch of new product drops, seasonal floor sets and local campaigns.

- An experienced store leader with proven success in launching or running high-profile retail locations in lifestyle, fashion or performance sportswear.
- Fluent in French and English (spoken and written).
- Entrepreneurial, commercially minded and results-driven.
- A natural people-person who thrives on connection, storytelling and coaching others.
- Passionate about running and living an active lifestyle.
- Confident using data and systems to inform decisions and drive performance.
