Mont d'Arbois Luxury Resort is the first European mountain destination in Four Seasons: 1 hotel, 4 restaurants, 1 golf course. Four Seasons Hotel Megève ***** - 56 keys and 3 restaurants: La Brasserie Benjamin (French brasserie), Kaito (Japanese Pan‑Asian Fusion restaurant) and Bar Edmond (all‑day dining). Service and amenities: 900 sqm Spa, Wine Cellar with 14 000 bottles, ski room and Kids Kingdom & Teen Zone. Le Golf du Mont d'Arbois: 18 holes golf course.

About the location

Apline chic on the Mont s’Arbois slopes; our modern chalet builds on the legacy of the Rothschild family who set out to create an unrivaled resort experience nearly a century ago. Our first Four Seasons mountain destination in Europe with 55 spacious accommodations including 14 suites is due to re‑open in December 2019 following renovation, and our 2 seasonal operations are December 15 to April 15 and from June 14 to September 30.

About the role

The Sommelier’s role is to assist the Assistant Head Sommelier during service. The goal is to provide quality service to our customers in compliance with Four Seasons standards. The Sommelier must be qualified and experienced in service, demonstrate a very good team spirit, have an excellent presentation and good interpersonal skills to meet the expectations of a high‑end clientele.

What you will do
  • Provide customers with a pleasant, efficient and professional service in accordance with Four Seasons standards.
  • Monitor the smooth running of the services (wine service, customer satisfaction, responsiveness to special customer requests) and work in symbiosis with his service colleagues.
  • Know the Menu and each menu according to the Chef's suggestions.
  • Organize the logistics of storage in the cellar, the management and updating of cellar books and wine lists.
