We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Site Manager specializing in food retail shopfitting to oversee the planning, execution and delivery of retail projects within the food industry. As a key member of our team you will be responsible for managing all aspects of shopfitting projects ensuring that they are completed on time within budget and to the highest standards.

Tasks
Team Management

Lead and supervise construction teams on site ensuring clear communication and accountability.

Manage subcontractors and suppliers ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.

Quality Control

Implement best practices and quality standards throughout the construction process.

Regularly inspect work to ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.

Client Relationship Management

Maintain strong relationships with clients providing updates on project progress and addressing any concerns.

Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences.

Health and Safety Compliance

Enforce compliance with health and safety regulations on-site.

Conduct risk assessments and implement necessary safety measures.

Requirements
  • Technical training (carpenter) technical training certification as assembly manager
  • Minimum 3‑5 years of experience in construction management specifically in shopfitting or retail environments.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, best practices and relevant regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Fluent in French; proficiency in English or German is an additional requirement.
  • Very good manual skills.
  • Knowledge of electrical engineering, air conditioning and heating.
  • Knowledge of fire protection, building services and safety coordination.
  • High willingness to travel within France (60 % – 70 %).
