An engineering firm is seeking an experienced Installation Engineer S-Lay to oversee engineering aspects of Shallow Water Pipelay and Umbilical Lay projects. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience with EPCI contracts, specifically in S-Lay installation, and will ensure high standards of quality and safety are maintained throughout the project. Fluency in English and a relevant engineering degree are essential. The position is based in Île-de-France, France.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years' experience in EPCI contracts with significant S-Lay installation experience.
• Experienced in assessing installation spreads and contractors' capabilities.
• Knowledgeable in offshore installation aspects related to pipelines.

Responsabilités

• Responsible for engineering aspects of the Shallow Water Pipelay and Umbilical Lay.
• Ensure safe and on-time delivery of the trunklines scope of work.
• Monitor and manage schedule, technical, quality, and HSES requirements.

Connaissances

Experience with S-Lay installation

Ability to manage interfaces between contractors

Fluency in English

Pragmatic problem-solving

Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment

Formation

Bachelor's degree in engineering

Geotechnical or mechanical engineering preferred
