The Senior Accountant supports, and in conjunction with, The A&T Managers and supervisors, manages a team of staff, ensuring that the provision of all client work for the portfolio is delivered on time and to a high standard in order to meet productivity targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Full processing of accounting and tax reporting files, by allocation of international client portfolio (all business lines)
- Preparation or review of annual financial statements, tax returns, closing transactions
- Setting up monthly and quarterly reports with different levels of autonomy depending on files’ complexity
- Supervising one or more junior employees: ensuring that they can perform the requested work/tasks by providing the adequate knowledge, information, expertise, and support
- In this regard, prepare and perform training sessions to share her.his knowledge with the team
- Ensuring a smooth and effective communication with clients on operational level, on areas defined by the supervisors/managers
- Anticipating any client escalations by being proactive and assisting if necessary in solving them
- Working in compliance with all company’s procedures and related standards of work.
- Communicating and anticipating to ensure fluidity and compliance of the workflow according to calendars. Escalating when needed.
- Taking part in the monitoring of internal projects (tool change, training…)
- Any other tasks assigned by the management
Key Requirements
- Fluent knowledge of English (B2)
- Degree in Accounting, Audit (BTS, DCG, DSCG, Master CCA or equivalents), or a comparable level achieved through exposure and experience
- At least 4-5 years’ experience in outsourcing firms or multinational
- At least 2 years’ experience in coaching junior staff members and managing team members
- Proficiency in Office Pack – especially Excel
- Knowledge of at least one accounting software: SAGE, CEGID Loop, Yooz or equivalent, Netsuite, or SAP is a plus, Enate Suit, ORACLE, Blackline, Workday, Yardi Voyager.
