This is a leadership role where you will own the technology, maintenance, process, and setting for the equipment on the line. You will possess deep expertise and be regarded as the technology expert for the line(s).

How you will contribute

You will:

  • Partner with and enable the line leader(s) to deliver the SQCDSM targets - Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability & Morale - for the lines, ensuring process stability; participate in the DMS - Daily Management Systems meetings at shift and line levels.
  • Own the technology, process, and centerline settings for the equipment, with deep technical mastery of the process and equipment; oversee the Progressive Maintenance systems and work processes, and the Maintenance KPIs for the line(s); manage the Repairs & Maintenance budget.
  • Develop, own, and execute preventive and time-based maintenance systems and plans; build the team's capability to perform maintenance independently; spend at least 50% of time enhancing technical and maintenance skills of technicians; lead some PM systems at the department level.
  • Partner with the Asset and Reliability team for system improvements and special maintenance tasks; be responsible for Change Management, spares localization, breakdown analysis, and R&M cost reduction; represent the department/line as the site technology owner in regional and global forums.
  • Assist in VSU initiatives, support the VSU team, and help in benchmarking and reapplication efforts; serve as a subject matter expert on component categories and train others on PM topics.

  • The ability to lead a role for the line, coach the next level SWP owners, and drive continuous improvement using PDCA methodology.
  • Experience working as a Line Leader, developing and aligning goals, managing IDP, and coaching team members on performance and career development.
