📋 Context of the position

The Renewal & Churn Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the sales team by managing customer renewals, reducing churn, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. This position focuses on maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, analyzing churn risks, and executing strategies to maximize retention and revenue growth. The Renewal & Churn Specialist will directly negotiate with customers to secure renewals, requiring strong closing skills and the ability to convert customer satisfaction into Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR).

🎯 Your Responsibilities

Renewal Management :

  • Proactively manage contract renewals for assigned accounts.
  • Ensure timely communication with customers regarding renewal terms and options.

Churn Prevention :

  • Identify at‑risk customers through data analysis and feedback.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success teams to implement retention strategies.

Customer Engagement :

  • Act as a point of contact for renewal‑related inquiries.
  • Provide clear and accurate information on pricing, terms, and product updates.

Data & Reporting :

  • Maintain accurate records in CRM (Salesforce or similar).
  • Track renewal rates, churn metrics, and provide regular reports to management.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration :

  • Work closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Finance teams to ensure smooth processes.
  • Support upsell and cross‑sell opportunities during renewal discussions.
🕵️ ♂️ What We Are Looking For
  • Languages: Native in French and fluent in English. Proficiency in another European language is strongly appreciated.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Technical Skills: Sales mindset. Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce), Excel, and reporting dashboards.
  • Analytical: Ability to interpret churn data and identify trends.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to collaborate in a diverse and dynamic environment.
