Description du poste
Job Purpose

Within the Subsea Installation department, you will report to the Head of your Discipline. Your primary mission is to support projects, tenders, and studies by defining the technical specifications related to pre-engineering surveys such as AUV, bathymetric, and geophysical surveys, in accordance with contractual requirements. You will also be responsible for proposing and supporting cost-effective solutions and technologies.

Additionally, you will define the technical specifications for marine operations, including positioning and surface navigation, subsea acoustic and inertial positioning, support for installation works, metrologies, and dimensional control. You will analyze and assess subcontractor technical offers when applicable, and issue procedures related to the positioning of structures, pipelines, and umbilicals in coordination with subcontractors, structure design, and installation teams. Reporting to the project or package manager, you will ensure alignment with cost and timing objectives. Participation in offshore operations, including mobilization and survey operation follow-up, may also be required.

Job Description

As a technical referent within the survey and positioning department, you are expected to maintain state-of-the-art competencies across all relevant sectors, including USVs, equipment, and metrology. You will contribute to defining the discipline strategy by engaging with the regional lead through seminars and collaborative sessions with peers. This includes identifying areas for development and defining the targeted skills and knowledge to be acquired.

You will provide technical and technological support, as well as risk analysis, as needed across projects and during manufacturing, fabrication, and installation operations. Your role includes delivering innovative engineering solutions and offering high-level technical advice and support during tenders. You will also play a key role in client relations through presentations, meetings, and interface management.

Ensuring excellent HSE and engineering performance is essential, achieved through the application of Subsea engineering rules, processes, and standards. You will support knowledge development by proposing improvements and innovations in engineering processes and tools, and by providing guidance and training at the local and regional levels.

Finally, you will coordinate design activities, including those of subcontractors, with responsibilities that encompass mentoring, defining the design basis, and managing engineering schedules and budgets.
