A chemical production company in Dijon is seeking a chemical production operator (M/F) to join their 5/8 shift teams. The ideal candidate should have a background in chemistry and be knowledgeable in GMP, cGMP, and HSE rules. Responsibilities include monitoring production equipment and ensuring compliance with safety standards. This is a temporary contract.

Description du poste

We are looking to recruit a chemical production operator (M/F) to complete our 5/8 shift production teams.

Monitor, operate and regulate one or more synthesis or finishing installations according to hygiene, safety and environmental standards within the framework of production quality, cost and deadline requirements.

What you will be doing:

  • Know and be able to operate production equipment.
  • Know and apply the documents (procedures, IPR, protocols, etc.) relating to your sector of activity.
  • Complete production monitoring materials (instructions, logbooks, etc.) and transmit the information to the relevant contacts.
  • Check and maintain the cleanliness of the premises, production and control equipment (reactor, distillation column, pH meter, etc.).
  • Monitor the operational and safety status of production facilities and equipment.
  • Take process parameter readings (temperature, pressure, etc.) and detect anomalies and deviations.
  • Report any risky situation and, at the request of the team leader, write an incident report.
  • Check the quantity, conformity and availability of raw materials and reagents
  • Take samples of materials or products by delegation from the LCQ (Control Laboratory) and identify and label them for analysis.
  • Perform current checks (IPC, Humidity, pH, etc.
  • Provide an initial diagnosis, report anomalies and/or incidents to your team leader and be proactive

What we are looking for:

  • Basic knowledge of chemistry, GMP, cGMP and HSE rules; know how to use handling tools
  • Level bac +2 or Bac +3 in chemistry or equivalent professional experience.
