A leading marine consultancy in Paris is looking for a specialist to support offshore marine operations. The role involves conducting quality control on OVID inspection reports and offering technical marine consultancy. Candidates need 10 years of experience, including at least 5 years as Master or Chief Engineer on offshore support vessels. This full-time position allows for partial remote work and periodic travel to Africa.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of professional experience, including minimum 5 years as Master or Chief Engineer.
• Current or prior certification as a Merchant Marine Master or Chief Engineer.
• Experience with sophisticated offshore support vessels.

Responsabilités

• Conduct quality control of OVID inspection reports for adherence to OCIMF standards.
• Assess close-out proposals and compile recommendations for vessel technical operators.
• Provide ad-hoc marine consultancy based on technical analyses.
