A leading engineering firm in France seeks a skilled Nuclear Engineer to support design activities within the Nuclear Sector. What will you be doing

As a Nuclear Engineer you will join a team to support our activities within the Nuclear Sector.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Support design activities for Reactor and Core Systems progressing from Final Concept Definition (FCD) through to the early stages of Detailed Design.
• Take ownership of cross-functional tasks that contribute to the continuous improvement of system design processes and procedures across the organisation.
• Engage regularly with key design stakeholders ensuring effective communication and adherence to governance processes including gated design reviews definition reviews and decision reviews.
• Develop comprehensive design documentation including System Design Descriptions Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) Functional Bill of Materials Requirement Definitions Decision Records and other essential design materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or masters degree in mechanical engineering, systems engineering, chemical engineering or a field related to Nuclear systems.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proficient in delivering presentations and producing high-quality reports.
• Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and requirements management.
• Knowledge of Pressurised Water Reactor (PWR) operating principles.
• Preferably some familiarity with reactor core physics.
• Fluency in French and English mandatory
