Job Description
- Act as the point of contact for processes for the implementation of new MES programs or standards
- Ensure the availability of MES systems, their adoption and their development according to the needs and the evolution of the manufacturing tool.
- Escalate problems to the appropriate external support teams and follows up on the resolution when he / she cannot provide a solution himself / herself
- Maintain an up-to-date global understanding of Supply Chain supporting systems and their overall architecture.
- Help to understand the interfaces that link the different components (MES, QAD, Data etc.) together and highlights opportunities for integration and simplification.
- Provide support to managers and contributors in the operations and supporting departments, ensure the skills development of teams on MES. Identify the skill gap, develop and run training programs.
- Collect business needs and translates them into MES specifications. Provide support to users of new MES developments.
- Support the prioritization of different developments.
- Support the definition of the new process in the operation field and production KPIs.
- Organize the deployment and validation of MES system updates, manage the implementation of new modules.
- Maintain up-to-date overall understanding of MES systems and their architecture across the plant. Help to understand the interfaces that link the different components together (QAD, Data etc.)
- Develop a complete expertise in all MES modules (Zebra, Desktop, Light) and MES systems as well as the reports and data export (SSRS Report). Responsible for providing training to users.
- Provides improvement solutions by analysis of issues and eliminating root causes.
- Ensure 100% validation of MES systems’ deployment, support the implementation of new modules.

Profile
Your profile is a match if :
- Good understanding of the manufacturing of products in different industries.
- Knowledge in MES
- Communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of the different functions related to manufacturing (production, process engineering, supply chain, quality, Maintenance…) and related supporting tools (PLM, ERP, CMMS…)
- Experience in Change Management
- Knowledge in process mapping, functional testing tools
- Analytical skills, pedagogic skill
- 1 - 3 years in MES related activities, 1 – 3 years of manufacturing experience
- Fluent in English and French
- Sense of organization and planning (coordination of a team)
Compensation & Benefits
- Fixed salary range : 45k-50k gross annual salary
- Variable pay : 6%
