Description: A General Maintenance Personnel is responsible for the general oversight of each building and its operational condition. The General Maintenance Personnel performs a variety of tasks related to general maintenance and upkeep in buildings owned by Magnolia Assisted Living.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School degree or equivalent.
• Experience in general repairs and knowledge of basic building upkeep.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.

Physical Requirements:

• This is a physical position requiring visual and auditory acuity, fine hand coordination, and the ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in various conditions, including carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, and balancing.
• Ability to drive or arrange transportation.
• Ability to read and write.

Essential Functions:

• Move and arrange furniture and equipment, perform room setups and tear downs.
• Replace light bulbs and assist in maintaining building security.
• Maintain vehicle logs, perform minor repairs, operate equipment and tools.
• Transport materials, order supplies, and perform yard work and grounds upkeep.
