A leading automotive supplier is seeking a Lead Buyer to oversee purchasing for its Holding and OPn’Soft business groups. This role involves managing supplier relations, conducting negotiations, and ensuring compliance with procurement contracts. Ideal candidates will have 7–10 years of purchasing experience in an industrial or automotive context, strong skills in sourcing and supplier management, and be fluent in both English and French. MISSION of The Lead Buyer Holding & Opn'Soft:
  • Lead Purchasing Scope for Holding and OPn’Soft business groups (Indirect Purchasing)
  • Supports the operations, bringing value in managing the supply base (cost, on time delivery, quality, sustainability) and contributing to the site performance.
  • Identifies the market opportunities and offerings to satisfy the site/functions needs and optimize the total cost of ownership.
  • Manages the supplier relations to meet the sites/functions expectations and build value bearing partnerships.
  • Elaborates, implements and reports initiatives in collaboration with Global Domain Managers.
  • Conduct negotiations ensuring cost control, contract flexibility, quality, and risk mitigation.
  • Handle contract creation, review, renewals, and compliance management.
  • Ensures the full application of the procurement contracts up to the final payment of the supplier.
  • Monitor supplier performance and support supplier evaluation.

PROFILE
Personal Background
  • 7–10 years of experience in purchasing, ideally within an industrial, automotive, technology, or engineering environment.
  • Solid knowledge of procurement methodologies: sourcing, negotiation, contracting, supplier management.
  • Proficiency with procurement tools (ERP, e-sourcing) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Professional fluency in English and French.
  • Understanding R&D or software engineering environments is an advantage.
