A global private equity firm in Paris is seeking a KYC Analyst responsible for performing KYC diligence on various counterparties. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of KYC experience in the financial industry and a degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Law. Proficiency in both French and English is required. This role offers the chance to join a dynamic, international team focused on compliance and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of KYC experience in the financial industry.
  • Good understanding of French and international corporate structures.
  • Full proficiency in English and French, both written and spoken.

Responsabilités

  • Perform due diligence on counterparties and maintain KYC files.
  • Assess risk levels and escalate KYC issues as per procedure.
  • Monitor the internal KYC database and assist with reporting.

Opportunities and Responsibilities

As a licensed management company, Committed Advisors is subject to regulatory requirements in relation to client onboarding (investors / investments). The KYC Analyst will perform KYC diligence on counterparties located in various jurisdictions, establish and maintain KYC files, working under the supervision of the General Counsel.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Performing due diligence on counterparties: request KYC information, review and verify received documents, perform screenings and checks, enter information into KYC files;
  • Making assessment of counterparty risk level;
  • Reviewing and updating existing KYC files;
  • Escalating KYC issues in accordance with internal procedure ;
  • Monitoring the internal KYC databaseand assist with statistics and regulatory reportings;
  • Participating in KYC compliance updates and keeping apprised of regulatory changes.
Qualifications / Experience/Skills :
  • First successful experience (min 1 year) performing counterparty KYC in the financial industry (bank, insurance, private equity)
  • Good understanding of various French and international structures (corporate / shareholding, partnerships, trusts, foundations and other institutions)
  • Bachelor degree or higher (Business, Accounting, Finance, Legal)
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and work ethics
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Full English and French proficiency (written and spoken)
  • Proficient in Microsoft office (Word and Excel)
