About the role

Job title: Internal Engagement & Strategic Learning – Vaccine R&D

Location: Marcy l’Étoile, France

Main responsibilities
  • Develop and implement internal engagement actions (80%) and strategic learning plans (20%) across Vx R&D.
  • Develop and deploy an internal engagement strategy aligned with Vx R&D ambition and objectives, coupled with an impactful communication plan to federate all collaborators in our transformation journey and remaining aligned with GBU communication strategy.
  • In alignment with GBU Communication team, develop and deploy Vx RD‑specific internal communication.
  • Propose and develop engagement actions aligned with Vx RD team expectations.
  • Further boost top‑down and bottom‑up communication channels between Vx R&D top management and the rest of the organization, adapting communication channels and messages.
  • Work closely with Global Vaccine R&D head and leadership team to prepare for key internal and external events (Town halls, Webinars).
  • Support the VRDLT in its communications within R&D and beyond, by providing the appropriate training, services and resources.
  • Drive creation of compelling content to inform audiences and inspire them to act.
  • Ensure that key messages are delivered within Vx R&D, Sanofi vaccines and Sanofi Group to share information and encourage & foster engagement.
  • Lead preparation and analysis of the Your Voice survey in collaboration with P&C partners and TRT with LEBI.
  • Develop and deploy a Global Strategic Learning Plan and knowledge retention aligned with Vx R&D priorities and in close collaboration with relevant learning organisations (Global R&D, Digital …).
  • Accountable for deployment & execution of learning strategies in Vaccine R&D.
  • Ensure understanding of R&D Learning vision and strategy.
  • Facilitate internal dissemination of knowledge developed.
  • Ensure interfaces with R&D University, Sanofi University, Digital Learning Institute and Vx GBU.
  • Seamlessly collaborate with P&C‑led initiatives.
  • Change Management efforts in support of cultural and operating changes required by Take the Lead ambition, including Digital transformation.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in internal communication/engagement position(s).
  • Tracked record of successful transversal initiatives leadership.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills in French and English, and the ability to distil complex technology and business information into clear, concise messaging.
  • Ability to craft messages and convey the importance of these messages to targeted audience(s).
  • Familiarity with social media, digital, video, visual, and collaboration sharing platforms.
  • Interest in new creative ways to engage with all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent ability to communicate at all levels within and outside the organization.
  • Get the strategic vision on Learning development.
  • Knowledge of L&D processes and matrices including adult learning theory, the range of developmental approaches and various L&D tools/systems and their efficacy.
  • Acute understanding in Cognitive Sciences (human & artificial) & new managerial technologies and modern ways of working (organisation & people).
  • Must maintain confidentiality, with a high level of accuracy regarding information.
  • Proven ability to think ahead, engage proactively and take initiative.
  • Leadership: ability to challenge, convince and lead multidisciplinary & cultural networks.
  • Collaborative, enthusiastic, and positive outlook.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and to demonstrate flexibility and organisational skills.
  • Excellent networking, relationship‑building, and influencing skills with various levels and functions.

About you

He/she leads a team of 2 people based in France and North America.

Financial responsibilities: average budget of 500 K Eur/year.
