As Head of Product – Sports Betting Tribe, you will join our Sports Betting Product team (approx. 150 people), where you will lead one of the two Tribes in charge of developing our Sports Betting mobile applications.
You will manage around 12 team members, including Lead Product Owners, Product Owners, Product Managers, Data Product Owner, Data Analysts, and GenAI specialists. Your responsibilities include setting the 18-month product strategy, preparing the Discovery phase, and organizing the Delivery phase.
YOUR ROLE WITHIN BETCLIC
Reporting directly to the Product Director – Sports Betting, your main missions will be to:
Define and embody the 18-month product strategy for your Tribe, and contribute to the overall product vision.
Ensure alignment of the Tribe’s 4 squads with the vision, setting their missions, OKRs, and scope.
Lead, structure, and upskill a team of ~12 Product leaders (PMs, POs, Data PO, Analysts, GenAI expert), and coordinate with experts around you (Product Designers, UX Researchers).
Together with the Head of Engineering, structure product processes: discovery, roadmapping, prioritization, delivery, impact measurement, and reporting.
Organize and balance Discovery and Delivery tracks for each “season” (3-month cycle).
Uphold and evangelize product methodology and ensure its adoption across squads.
Champion the user voice and foster a mobile-first, impact-driven, value-oriented product culture.
Take part in Product Management Committees for the Sports Betting vertical, and elevate key decisions to the CPO.
Represent your Tribe in internal and external company presentations.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for passionate and curious professionals who bring kindness and a touch of enthusiasm!
This job is for you if:
You have 10+ years of successful experience in Product Management, including as Head of Product or CPO in a fast-growing, digital pure player company operating B2C mobile apps.
You are a natural leader, user-obsessed, impact-driven, and eager to take on new challenges.
You have strong Product culture and master methodologies like Product Strategy, Discovery, Delivery, OKRs, and Scrum.
You know how to structure and manage a Product team, delegate roles, and foster engagement.
You are data-driven and focused on measurable value creation.
And finally, you speak English fluently.
If your application is shortlisted, Pierre will contact you within a week for an initial HR screening (30 minutes). Then, you will complete the AssessFirst test (personality, motivation and cognitive reasoning).
Then, you'll spend a half-day onsite in Bordeaux for 4–5 interviews with your future colleagues:
