A leading pharmaceutical company is seeking a Global Market Access Director to develop pricing and reimbursement strategies for oncology and rare disease products. The role demands a deep understanding of the HTA environment and requires over 7 years of market access experience. Candidates should be fluent in English and possess strong project management and negotiation skills. This position offers flexibility with a hybrid working model and involves collaboration with teams across various global regions.
Your mission
Your role within a pioneering and rapidly expanding company
Under the responsibility of your manager, the Global Market Access Director, your main mission is to drive and help to develop pricing and reimbursement strategies for our products as well as manage subsequent activities (extensions, revision etc.), mainly in the oncology or rare disease area.
Throughout the product lifecycle, you develop relationships with subsidiaries across the world (Europe, Asia, Africa, Middle East, USA) and franchises to identify needs and use the information obtained to benefit the development of pricing and reimbursement strategies.
You participate in the definition and monitoring of the budget within your scope.
Youdevelop and maintain a robust understanding of relevant pricing and reimbursement criteria used by payers in key markets to make informed decisions about payer strategy, plans and tactics. You identify opportunities and challenges from a health policy, healthcare funding or governmental initiatives perspective.
Depending on priorities, you may be involved in cross‑functional projects, Business Development (BD) assessments or work on early asset development (working on clinical development plans in order to anticipate requirements for pricing and reimbursement negotiations in countries of interest
and anticipating market access strategy)
Ability to drive and influence strategic discussions.
