Flexis - IS/IT Transversal Functional Architect - F/M

Flexis, formed from the Joint venture between Renault Group, Volvo Group and CMA/CGM in April 2024, is a European mobility solutions OEM based in France. Flexis designs, develops and manufactures a new generation of 100% electric commercial vans and provides fleet management solutions based on a Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) architecture.

The Start Of Production (SOP) of the first Flexis vehicles is planned in April 2026.

We will become the primary provider of electrified last mile delivery services through connected solutions and vehicles for our B2B partners and customers.

Flexis IS/IT Department is seeking for an IS Transversal Function Architect.

He/She defines the best architectural design needed to implement a product and integrate it into the ecosystem. It takes into account the functional needs expressed by the business and non-functional issues (resilience, security, cost of use, etc.).

It offers an optimal architecture that integrates new technologies in accordance with the directions and architectural patterns defined by the company's technological strategy.

Your Missions:

• Accompany one or more projects as a functional Architect
• Organize business workshops in order to understand and modelize, when needed, business processes
• Write specifications in relation to functional architecture
• Lead architecture definition workshops and framing phases
• Analyze business processes and define the target functional architecture and the steps needed to achieve it in collaboration with the technical architect and the Chief Data Officer.
• Ensure an IS Global Functional architecture consistency
• Identify data sources and interfaces associated
• Identify macro impacts on existing products and products to be built
• Support the project teams on a daily basis to explain the target architect and accompany the implementation
• Centralize and maintain diagrams & processes up to date.
• Define the cross-functional architecture of IS within Flexis (ex: with vehicle software engineering departments) and with external IS (ex: Renault group)
• Ensure animation of the IS/IT Architecture Committees in collaboration with the technical architect.
• Promote the opportunities for innovation offered by technological breakthroughs and the digitalization of business
• Contribution to the heritage of architectural assets in order to build up the catalogue of patterns and capitalize
• Key cooperations: Technical Architect, Business Product Owners, Business Analysts, Product Leaders, Cyber / Security specialist etc…

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in functional architecture with a good knowledge of information systems (ERP, CRM etc.) and automotive industry.
• Good understanding of Cloud, Data and interoperability.
• Master architectural modelization techniques. TOGAF certification is a plus.
• Ability to understand the long-term and short-term perspectives of transformation.
• Strong ability to communicate, explain and educate choices beyond technologies.
• Pragmatic state of mind.
• Know how to work in agile mode. Knowledge of the SAFe framework is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team.
• Fluent in French & English (Work with Indian, Romanian people).
