Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in design and construction projects for manufacturing facilities.

• Fluent in French preferred.

Electrical Engineer - Toulouse - 12-Month Contract

Our client, a global (bio)pharmaceutical manufacturing organization, is recruiting for an Electrical Engineer to join their team on a new expansion project. Based in a charming location in France, this contractual role involves significantly increasing the site’s capacity for biologics manufacturing.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

1. Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering
2. Experience supporting CAPEX investment projects from concept to operational handover
3. Experience working with internal stakeholders and external contract teams
4. Ideally fluent in French
5. Willing to travel to France or based within Europe
6. Design experience with electrical power systems, including earthing, lightning protection, and low voltage systems
7. Design experience with building services systems, such as lighting (general and emergency), fire detection and alarms, and IT infrastructure
8. Experience with process equipment design
9. Experience in pharmaceutical plant operations or chemical engineering, including hazardous areas
10. Minimum of 5 years’ experience, including design and construction projects for manufacturing facility expansion
11. Experience managing complex projects within operational facilities
12. Knowledge of clean utilities such as steam, water, and WFI (Water for Injection)
13. Strong organizational and planning skills to meet deadlines
14. Proven ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to changing needs
15. Strong leadership and communication skills, with a problem-solving mindset focused on project goals
16. Proficiency with computer tools like spreadsheets, Word, Visio, and Microsoft Project
