Norton Rose Fulbright is an international business law firm with a strong presence across Europe, the Americas, Asia‑Pacific, the Middle East and Africa. Our Paris office plays a key role in the firm’s global Paris and supports major domestic and international clients on complex business law matters in both French and English law.

The Team

You will join the Litigation, Arbitration & Restructuring practice at our Paris office. The team advises clients on commercial litigation, international arbitration and restructuring matters, acting in proceedings before French and foreign courts as well as in domestic and international arbitration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and actively participate in international commercial litigation matters and arbitration proceedings (domestic / international) and restructuring mandates.
  • Assist with case preparation, pleadings, evidence collection, legal research, drafting memoranda, briefs and procedural documents.
  • Work closely with senior associates and partners on complex disputes and restructuring assignments both in French and English.
  • Liaise with clients, external counsel and colleagues across jurisdictions where required.
  • Contribute to team discussions and strategy and assist in delivering high‑quality legal advice and representation.
Key Skills and Experience
  • Holder of the CAPA (Certificat d’Aptitude à la Profession d’Avocat) and preferably with a first professional experience or significant internships in an international law firm.
  • Bilingual French / English with an excellent command of legal English (written and oral).
  • Personal qualities : rigor, dynamism, open‑mindedness, strong team‑spirit, a taste for international work and cross‑border matters.
  • Demonstrated interest in complex disputes, arbitration and restructurings and comfortable working in a fast‑paced high‑quality environment.
  • Good academic background and proven ability to handle demanding assignments.
