Description du poste

Reporting to the Europe Industry Director, the Industry Europe Project Director is responsible for the performance guarantee of entrusted industrial projects in Europe (Pre-design agreements, Design review agreements, Design & build contracts). He/she oversees design development after contract signing and monitors proper execution through the construction phase. As a project leader, the Industry Europe Project Director maintains customer relationships, leads change management, and coordinates the international project design team. Additionally, they may manage M&E packages during construction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACTIVITIES
Bidding phase:
  • Collaborates with the Industry Europe Design Director.
  • May temporarily substitute the Design Director and work closely with the business development team on sales offers.
Design phase:
  • Works closely with the Design Director.
  • Builds and maintains customer relationships; acts as a key client contact.
  • Utilizes supply chain resources.
  • Ensures production of all deliverables (technical memorandum, design proposals, schedules, method statements, cost breakdowns).
  • Manages internal and external design resources.
  • Conducts technical design and estimation, collaborating with business development and project teams from kickoff to contract signing.
  • Optimizes building design and technical solutions.
Construction phase:
  • Collaborates with local project teams.
  • Responsible for performance guarantees.
  • Participates in monthly steering committees.
  • Leads change management processes.
  • Provides technical support to construction teams.
  • Ensures work progress aligns with design.
  • Maintains client relationships and satisfaction throughout the project.
Management of M&E packages:
  • Depending on the profile, may oversee M&E responsibilities.
  • Part of the local project team on-site.
  • Responsible for M&E package procurement and supervision.
  • Approves sub-contractor designs and monitors work progress.
  • Ensures performance of M&E packages.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in civil engineering, urbanism, M&E, or similar.
  • 5-10 years of experience in industrial construction.
  • Significant M&E experience.
  • Fluent in English and Italian or Spanish; French is a plus.
