About Construction Division

Construction is about transforming designs, mockups, and blueprints into productive complex structures. With a broader definition than just building, Construction Job Family covers roles related to Site Operations, Subcontracting, and Commissioning.

About the Job
  • Elaborates, in cooperation with Project Manager and Head of Subcontracting, Construction, CSU, the Subcontracting strategy starting from that prepared during bid stage.
  • Performs the Construction sequence analysis identifying the critical path, and giving to the Project Team the necessary input to define Project schedule.
  • Defines the Construction Work Packages list and associated release plan consistent with overall schedule; he is also responsible of the periodical update of the document during project development.
  • Plans all the deliverables issue and activities to be performed by the Construction Department on the Project in accordance with the overall schedule and relevant resources allocated.
  • Checks, in cooperation with Project Team, the availability of free issue deliverables (material and IFC drawings) for each Construction Work Package before the issue of the relevant notice to start to Subcontractor.
  • Approves all the specific Project procedures and deliverables as in approval course.
  • Supports and to drive the Constructability sessions preparation and to verify the implementation of the outcomes from Constructability sessions and follow-up.
At Site
  • Co-ordinates the Discipline Superintendents to ensure that their activities are executed in accordance with project specifications and documents in full respect of schedule, detecting in due advance and avoiding as much as possible causes of Extra-Works,
  • Surveys the implementation of the Construction HSE Plan and monitors that all safety regulations in force at site (including temporary facilities) are implemented,
  • Studies all specifications and other project documents; implementing the applicable construction procedures,
  • Ensures that the site quality plan is implemented by monitoring the timely execution and certification of the inspection activities by Quality Control team,
  • Coordinates schedule of materials, equipment, tools, trades and whatever is necessary to perform the construction activities are available on time.
