Your role

As Commercial Lead in our Personal Care team you will drive commercial success and innovation in personal care ingredients. You will be responsible for shaping and executing sales and marketing while continuously driving our ingredient roadmap forward and overseeing our product development efforts, including formulation, efficacy testing, and regulatory compliance. You will set and manage sales performance metrics, ensuring the team delivers on revenue targets while articulating the long-term vision for Cambrium’s lasting impact in the personal care industry.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sales Leadership: Refine and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth, tracking performance to identify areas for improvement
  • Key Account Management: Manage and own large accounts
  • Marketing & Product Positioning: Develop marketing strategies for both new and existing personal care ingredients, overseeing efforts around product messaging and branding
  • Partnerships: Define and implement partnership strategies to drive long term revenue growth and negotiate partnership agreements
  • Product Development: Drive the development of new ingredients in collaboration with our Product Manager, ensuring formulation, regulatory approval and efficacy testing to meet market demands
  • Team Leadership: Lead, grow, and mentor a high-performing Personal Care team, working with Leadership to align Personal Care with broader company vision
Your profile
  • 7+ years of experience in the Personal Care industry with 3+ years in managing B2B commercial teams
  • Proven track record of hitting or exceeding significant annual sales targets in B2B sales
  • Strong network within personal care brands
  • Deep understanding of personal care end to end product development from formulation, to claim substantiation and regulatory requirements
  • High motivation to drive the full range of our commercial efforts across sales, marketing and product development, with great commercial acumen
  • Experience in a fast-paced or high-growth environment, startup experience is a strong plus
  • Willing to travel occasionally (~15%) for industry events and customer meetings
  • Based in Berlin or Paris
