Our Agile development team is looking for an experienced Python Developer who will help design and build a Cloud resource Management Service for an infrastructure platform to strengthen the governance, security, and management of our infrastructure. Responsibilities

• Participate in the design, development, testing and deployment of our Python-based service (FastAPI).
• Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams including DevOps, infrastructure and security to ensure seamless integration and operation of the service.
• Implement and maintain features that enhance the functionality, efficiency and scalability of our managed services which comprise a RESTful API and event‑driven architecture.
• Ensure the security and compliance of our platform incorporating best practices and industry standards.
• Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical expertise in shaping the direction of the Cloud management platform.
• Work with project managers and/or development team leaders to define priorities, build project plans and estimations.
• Engage actively with your team, embrace their agile methods and collaborate effectively with other teams to ensure alignment and synergy. Conduct regular code reviews, mentor junior developers and contribute to a collaborative and innovative development culture.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues by working proactively to identify and address potential challenges.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Kubernetes and cloud‑native development.

Qualifications

• Expert hands‑on experience developing back‑end services in Python with clean, maintainable code practices.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, including API core principles and conducting API reviews.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools, particularly Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Azure, such as interfacing with GraphAPI and Entra ID deployment stacks.
• Ability to design and execute effective unit tests for Python applications.
• Experience working with events and understanding concepts such as topics and message acknowledgement.
