Automated Test Developer / Back-End QA Engineer (M / F)

We are looking for a Back-End QA Specialist to join our technical team and support our main objective for 2025: ensuring the quality of our SoftPOS products.

As a member of the GoToProd squad, you will be responsible for guaranteeing the quality of our flagship product deliveries. You’ll work closely with the development teams to embed quality assurance processes into our daily operations in a sustainable and structured way.

You’ll be supported by Julien (Squad Lead) and Alexandre (Back-End Tech Lead), and collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners.

Depending on your profile and interests, your main tasks may include:

• Designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure full coverage of product features
• Testing APIs according to specifications to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Running performance tests using tools like K6, Grafana, and working with development teams to optimize performance
• Collaborating with development teams to understand product requirements and features
• Analyzing test results, identifying anomalies, working with dev teams to resolve them, and supporting clients in troubleshooting
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of testing processes and software development practices
• Becoming a user of your own developments—on your smartphone!

Profile

• You have an engineering degree and at least 3 years of experience in software development, with 3 years in software QA
• You’re comfortable with technical environments such as Cucumber, REST APIs, Kubernetes, Postman, and you have solid development skills in Java and/or Go
• You have excellent test plan writing skills and experience executing automated tests
• You have hands‑on experience with performance testing tools such as K6
• You’ve demonstrated the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively in an Agile environment
• You possess strong communication and problem‑solving skills
• Bonus: If you have knowledge of payment and transaction standards and technologies (EMV, VISA, Mastercard…), this role is made for you!
