The Global Merchant Services France team (GMS France) is responsible for driving growth and strengthening loyalty within the American Express merchant network in France (AEPE). Its mission is to ensure widespread acceptance of the American Express card across the entire French territory and all industry sectors.
In France, GMS Acquisition operates mainly through merchant recruitment Partners (mainly banks) which help the company grow its network of accepting merchants. This must be executed through robust acquisition processes that adhere to local and European regulations applicable, as well as the Company’s internal policies.
