A leading power system simulation company seeks a skilled Electrical Power System Engineer to engage with customers and provide training on EMTP software. Responsibilities include understanding client needs, conducting presentations, and maintaining relationships to achieve sales objectives across Europe, Asia, and Africa. Ideal candidates will have expertise in power system engineering, interpersonal skills, and fluency in English. This is a remote freelance position, available as soon as possible, with salary to be discussed.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical power system engineering required.
• Strong interpersonal and client relationship skills are necessary.
• Familiarity with electromagnetic transients is essential.
• Knowledge of power system simulation tools like EMTP or equivalents is needed.
• Technical and organizational skills are critical.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.

Description du poste

PGSTech is in charge of the development, support and commercialization of EMTP (www.emtp.com). EMTP is a simulation software for power system electromagnetic transients.

Main responsibilities

• Discuss with customers to understand their needs and create a quotation with the appropriate solution.
• Realize online technical presentations and perform technical training
• Follow up with leads and customers
• Keep up to date the status of the different sales opportunities in our system.
• Keep the contact and company information up to date in our system.
• Reach sales objective in Europe, Asia and Africa.
• Visit customers and seek new leads during conferences or through online social networks
• Support customers in their use of EMTP (before and after sales)
• Write technical documents and prepare electronic demonstrations for EMTP promotion

Qualifications

• You are an electrical power system engineer
• You have strong interpersonal and client relationship skills
• You are familiar with electromagnetic transients
• You are familiar with power system simulation software (EMTP, PSCAD, DIgSILENT, PowerFactory, PSS / E, or equivalent)
• You have strong technical and organizational skills
• You are fluent in English
