A leading European software group is seeking an ambitious Account Executive for its M&A team to drive international expansion and evaluate acquisition opportunities. This role requires 1-3 years of experience in B2B SaaS or similar fields, and offers the chance to engage directly with software founders. The position is remote, but candidates must be located within the relevant geography, requiring occasional travel. Account Executive – M&A (positions open in DACH, Italy, Spain, UK and Benelux)
As a key member of Comet Software’s M&A team, you will play a central role in driving our international expansion. Acting as Comet’s local representative, you will identify and evaluate acquisition opportunities across the country’s vertical software landscape, while building trusted, long‑term relationships with founders.
This role offers hands‑on, end‑to‑end exposure to the investment process — from sourcing and valuation through due diligence and execution — and the opportunity to actively shape the future of Comet Software’s ecosystem. It is a dynamic position suited to someone eager to take ownership, develop quickly, and contribute to building the next generation of European software leaders.
You will work closely with the CEO, Head of M&A, and Sales Director to design targeted outreach initiatives, engage founders, and drive growth across the region.
We are recruiting several Account Executives for the following regions : DACH, Italy, Spain, UK and Benelux. The position is remote although we require the person to be located in its core geography as occasional travels will be required to meet prospects.
