⭐️ The Account Executive (Learn & Care) job

We’re expanding our Sales team in France and are looking for a ‘full‑stack’ Sales person to engage with prospects and turn them into happy Alan customers. You will join a team that mostly focuses on companies from the Learn & Care industry, interacting with everyone from HR executives to CEOs.

This segment encompasses daycare centres, educational institutions, hospitals, home help services, and social work organisations. This segment represents approximately 1.9M potential members in France.

  • Passionate team: Our 6‑person team is passionate about the sector we address, and the daily learnings from the field enhance this.

  • Diverse workforce: Predominantly female employees (often at low wages), with a mix of highly skilled caregivers, educators, and support staff, plus limited management/HR resources despite operational complexity.

  • Critical challenges: Administrative burden is particularly heavy due to high turnover (generating significant onboarding/offboarding paperwork), fierce competition for talent (from other companies, independent workers, or direct employment), and strict regulatory requirements.

  • Company profiles: Often small to medium sized structures managing large employee bases with frequent part‑time contracts, temporary workers, and multi‑employer arrangements.

  • HR priorities: Attracting and retaining talent in a sector with staffing shortages, managing physical and mental well‑being, and maintaining quality while controlling costs in a highly regulated environment.

Our existing customers in this segment particularly value Alan's simplified administrative experience, which resonates strongly in an industry where limited management staff manage complex HR tasks. We've also established strategic partnerships with key federations (FFEC for private daycare centres and FESP for home services), positioning us as a trusted partner in the sector.

What will you do with us?

You’ll own the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing. In our B2B Sales team, the average sales cycle is 6 months, dealing with companies ranging from 30 to 300 employees, with an average ARR of 150K€.

At Alan, Account Executives drive deals and close strategic opportunities with prospects. We sometimes handle some customer relationships to ensure the best possible onboarding. You’ll educate prospects, provide inspiring product demos, and onboard key stakeholders, making the transition from prospect to customer seamless.

We expect you to understand and apply the Alan Smart & Soft selling method. This method ensures the prospect experience is an integral part of the overall Alan customer experience—making it pleasant and delightful for everyone. We expect you to be instructive to prospects (Smart), as well as to define the best personalized high‑touch strategy that suits each prospect (Soft).

You’ll also help us grow and improve as a company, challenging us to enhance our product(s), methods, and strategy, and getting involved in initiatives to expand our customer base.

You’ll be a great fit for the Learn & Care Team at Alan if you:

  • Have at least 4 years of experience managing the whole Sales cycle, from prospecting to closing. Prospecting is a key part of the role;

  • Have full working proficiency in French (C2 and above) and an advanced level in English.

  • Are highly organized with exceptional follow‑up skills;

  • Have empathy and are passionate about understanding and solving prospects' problems;

  • Can influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus‑building;

  • Have a deep understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue business models;

  • Have a great attitude and ability to collaborate in a small team;

  • Are eager to learn fast and make an impact from day 1;

  • Are based in (or willing to relocate to) Paris, Bordeaux, Lyon or Marseille.
