Industrial Interchangeability of composite materials : Composite materials offer a great opportunity to reduce weight on aircraft structures so they are still the best option for our future aircraft. Nonetheless, the industrial systems for composite manufacture structures are too complex and very dependent on the manufacturing concept used and the behaviour of our materials. This project intends to develop the fundamentals of a future industrial interchangeability between 2 or more composite materials. For that, a proper material characterization and identification of the key parameters shall be performed to determine in advance the behaviour of the materials in the shop floor. Development of new test methods to perform this material characterization as well as correlation with process simulation will be the main focus of this internship program.
As a successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience :
English : min. level B2 (C1 desirable)
