A global agri-food company is seeking a Trade Marketer Southern Europe based in Barcelona. The role involves developing Trade Marketing strategies and collaborating closely with Sales to enhance the Farm Frites brand in France, Spain, Italy, and Portugal. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in Trade or Channel Marketing, be fluent in English, French, and Spanish, and possess strong analytical and communication skills. This hybrid position requires a proactive and results-driven approach.

Formación

Role Overview

40 hours / week, hybrid (based in Barcelona)

Farm Frites is a major international player in the foodservice sector. The company serves foodservice operators in over 100 countries with fries, potato specialties, and appetizers. Farm Frites is growing and aims to further expand its leading position worldwide.

Your Role

As Trade Marketer Southern Europe, your focus is on further developing the Farm Frites brand within the foodservice market in Southern Europe (France, Spain, Italy, and Portugal). You work closely with Sales and other Marketing disciplines to advise, support, and deliver customer‑focused solutions that meet the needs of wholesalers, entrepreneurs, and their guests.

You are responsible for developing and implementing Trade Marketing plans in Southern Europe within Farm Frites International.

You work closely with the sales team, particularly in the area of National Key Accounts. You think conceptually to inspire these clients to partner with Farm Frites and play a key role in strengthening relationships with existing National Key Accounts.

Using your knowledge and data on market trends and customer needs, you help shape various concepts and define go‑to‑market strategies together with sales for different channels.

You are jointly responsible for building and growing the Farm Frites A‑brand through customer‑focused solutions, promotions, activations, trade shows, and hospitality events.

You are part of the Trade Marketing team, led by the Global Head of Trade Marketing, with colleagues across various global regions. You report to the Senior Trade Marketer Central Western Europe (CWE).

Your Team

Trade Marketing is part of the Global Marketing team (approx. 40 FTE). The Trade Marketer Southern Europe role is part of the CWE Trade Marketing Team. You’ll work closely with the sales teams in France, Spain, Italy, and Portugal. You’ll also collaborate with Product Marketing, Brand & Communication, and Market Intelligence teams within Farm Frites.

Education and Skills
  • Bachelor’s / Master’s level education or equivalent working experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Trade / Channel Marketing or Sales, preferably in the food industry; B2B experience is a strong plus
  • Fluent in English, French and Spanish
  • Positive, proactive, and results‑driven mindset with strong communication skills
  • Analytical and able to handle data and large volumes of information
  • Experience in launching new products and concepts
  • Self‑starter who works independently
  • Willingness to travel (max. 10%)
