Overview of the Role :

As the Tender Management Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the entire tender process for Spain. You will be responsible for pre-working, on-working, and post-working stages of tenders, ensuring we secure key contracts and expand our market presence. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent market intelligence and relationship-building skills.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Direct and manage the full lifecycle of the tender process, including pre-working, on-working, and post-working stages, to ensure timely and successful submissions.
  • Collect and analyze tender information from various sources to identify opportunities and strategize submissions.
  • Work closely with the portfolio team to align tender products, including ARVs and non-ARVs, with market demands and strategic goals.
  • Conduct thorough market research to stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities, ensuring our tenders are competitive and compelling.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local logistics partners, principal recipients, and key stakeholders in B2C retail and hospital business sectors.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for tender-related communications, ensuring clear and effective coordination between all parties involved.

Necessary Skills and Qualifications :

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in tender management, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • A degree in Business, Pharmacy, or a related field.
  • In-depth understanding of the pharmaceutical market in Spain, including regulatory requirements and procurement processes.
  • Strong analytical and research skills to gather and interpret market intelligence and tender information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills, with a proven ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
