Job TitleTechnical Consultant – Digital Computational Pathology - with Spanish and German

At Philips, we believe there’s always a way to make life better. As a Technical Consultant – Digital Computational Pathology you will focus primarily on remote activities. The position requires some travel as part of European Team.

We contribute by researching, developing, manufacturing, selling, and implementing solutions for driving the digital breakthrough of pathology.

The highly innovative and tailored solution features state-of-the‑high‑resolution scanners for digitizing tissue samples, seamlessly integrated software for image viewing and diagnosis, and compatibility with third‑party AI tools for advanced image analysis.

Depending on customer needs, the solution can also include a turnkey IT infrastructure encompassing all necessary computing and storage components.

Your role
  • Implementing Digital Pathology IT solutions for new customer projects, enabling secure storage and real‑time streaming of data at petabyte scale.
  • Upgrading existing customer environments to the latest software versions, ensuring enhanced performance and reliability.
  • Supporting a seamless customer experience throughout the Digital Pathology solution lifecycle by actively participating in incident and problem management.
  • Providing expert troubleshooting and technical support for Digital Pathology deployments across Europe.
You´re the right fit if you have:
  • Desirable minimum of 3 years of experience in IT.
  • Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Windows OS, Microsoft SQL, Active Directory, Group Policies, VMWARE and network.
  • Good skills for working with delicate hardware components.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem analyzing skills.
  • Team player.
  • Experience in Healthcare or laboratory workflow.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Fluent in Spanish and German.
  • Willingness to travel and support other countries as a part of a wider European team (around 25%).
