🤖 Technical Architect – Hyperautomation (ACOE) | Remote - Part Time

The Technical Architect for Hyperautomation is a key member of the Automation Center of Excellence (ACOE), responsible for designing end‑to‑end automation architectures that integrate RPA, AI/ML, APIs, data platforms, and enterprise applications. This role ensures the scalability, reliability, security, and performance of hyperautomation solutions across GAOT / ACOE domains.

The architect will collaborate with product owners, developers, business SMEs, and enterprise IT teams to guide solution design, establish technical standards, and support the delivery of complex automations across the organization.

💼 Engagement Model : Part‑time / On‑demand

Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Solution Design
  • Design and govern hyperautomation architectures spanning RPA, APIs, microservices, AI/ML, orchestration platforms, and data pipelines.
  • Translate business requirements into robust, scalable, and secure technical solutions.
  • Lead integration design using REST, SOAP, and other API technologies; ensure API lifecycle governance, performance, and security.
  • Define and enforce development standards, reusable frameworks, coding guidelines, and best practices across ACOE delivery teams.
  • Ensure end‑to‑end solution coherence across .NET, Java, Python, SharePoint, data pipelines, and automation tools.
Technical Leadership & Delivery
  • Provide technical oversight during design, development, testing, deployment, and hypercare phases.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration or automation issues across distributed systems.
  • Support team skill development by guiding developers on architecture, patterns, and tooling.
  • Ensure performance optimization, security hardening, and reliability across all automation components.
Data, Integration & Platforms
  • Design and support data ingestion, transformation, and modeling frameworks (SQL / NoSQL, MDMP, UML‑based modeling).
  • Drive adoption of scalable data processing technologies (Spark, Hadoop) and ETL/ELT environments (Talend, Knime).
  • Oversee data engineering tasks for automation use cases, including ML‑enabled services or predictive models.
  • Govern metadata standards, data structures, and integration patterns across automations.
Testing, UX & Change Management
  • Define automation test strategies covering unit, integration, system, and UAT phases.
  • Partner with change management teams to ensure smooth deployment, operational readiness, and adoption of new digital processes.
Continuous Improvement & ACOE Governance
  • Contribute to ACOE blueprints, reference architectures, automation libraries, and solution accelerators.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies (AI, APIs, integration platforms, orchestration tools) to enhance hyperautomation capabilities.
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise IT architecture, cybersecurity standards, and data governance policies.
Required Technical Skills
Core Development & Integration
  • Strong expertise in API design and management (REST, SOAP, authentication, versioning, documentation, performance tuning).
  • Proficient in programming languages and logic to build solutions.
  • Solid programming experience in Python for automation, AI/ML, data manipulation, or web services.
  • Experience integrating automation solutions with enterprise systems (ERPs, databases, web platforms).
Data & Big Data
  • Understanding of data pipelines, data collection, and ETL/ELT concepts.
  • Knowledge of data modeling (SQL, NoSQL), metadata structures, and analytics preparation.
  • Good data engineering experience and familiarity with ML‑enabled workloads.
Platforms & Frameworks
  • Experience designing and managing solutions leveraging SharePoint.
  • Basic competence in UX/UI design principles, wireframing, and prototyping.
  • Knowledge of test management frameworks, strategy definition, and quality assurance processes.
Solution Architecture
  • Ability to define solution designs, integration layers, automation patterns, development standards, and architectural models.
  • Understanding of enterprise architecture considerations: scalability, maintainability, reuse, and compliance.
