About the role

We are seeking a Solutions and Implementation Engineer who will act as a vital link between customers, product, and sales teams. This position blends technical expertise with customer‑facing collaboration to ensure successful product adoption and smooth onboarding experiences. You will be responsible for managing both pre‑sales and post‑sales implementation processes, from running tailored demos to executing integrations and complex deployments. The role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic startup environment and enjoys both hands‑on technical work and strategic client interaction.
(Candidates should be able to align part of their working hours with early Eastern Standard Time.)

  • Type of contract: Full‑time employment agreement (via EOR company). Contractor or B2B agreement is also possible.
  • Contract location: You’ll need to feel comfortable working during US Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours.
  • Type of company: AI Technology startup.
  • Years of experience required: 3+ years of experience in implementation engineering, solutions engineering, or technical account management in a SaaS environment, ideally with a technical/engineering background transitioning to customer‑facing roles or 3+ years as a QA automation architect/engineer with strong customer‑facing experience, along with expertise in Quality Assurance, cloud certifications (AWS, GCP, etc.), and managing the customer lifecycle from onboarding to renewal.
  • Must‑have tech skills: Expertise in QA processes, Test Management Systems (TMS) platforms, APIs, CI/CD, issue trackers, strong coding skills in Python and JavaScript, cloud environments like AWS, GCP, and Azure for deployments, as well as familiarity with security and compliance standards such as GDPR, SOC 2, and ISO 27001.
  • Must‑have business / managerial skills requirements: Startup experience is a big plus. Strong customer‑facing skills, including clear communication of technical concepts to non‑technical audiences, effective presentation and consultative abilities, excellent organizational capabilities for managing multiple projects, and proficiency in troubleshooting technical issues with creative, customer‑focused solutions.

  • Selection process duration and steps: You will start with an HR meeting, followed by a meeting with the VP of Engineering, then a technical assessment (lasting 30 minutes to 1 hour), a quick review of the exercise, and finally, a concluding interview.
What will you do

Pre‑sales

  • Partner with Account Executives to conduct technical discovery sessions, identifying client needs and defining solution requirements.
  • Deliver personalized product demonstrations aligned with client use cases.
  • Lead Proof‑of‑Concept (POC) projects, including data setup, integrations, and success criteria validation.
  • Provide technical input for proposals, ensuring scalability and feasibility.
  • Independently complete client security questionnaires and technical documentation.

Post‑sales

  • Manage full‑cycle customer onboarding, from planning to implementation and deployment.
  • Oversee infrastructure setup, environment configuration, and UAT coordination.
  • Develop structured implementation playbooks and success metrics to ensure timely, high‑quality project delivery.
  • Act as the primary technical escalation point, troubleshooting integration, authentication, and infrastructure issues.
  • Deliver workshops and training sessions for QA engineers, developers, and administrators.
  • Identify product improvement opportunities and potential upsell or cross‑sell cases.

Technical execution

  • Write and maintain scripts, sample code, and automation flows to support integrations and client adoption.
  • Design and communicate solution architectures, including cloud infrastructure setup (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Address client security and compliance concerns by providing clear, confident technical responses.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation such as diagrams, guides, and internal toolkits.

Collaboration & optimization

  • Serve as the technical bridge between clients and internal teams, gathering and sharing actionable feedback.
  • Partner with Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless client experiences.
  • Track product usage and recommend optimization strategies for long‑term adoption and value realization.
Ideally you bring

Core technical skills

  • Solid understanding of QA workflows, Test Management Systems, and related integrations (APIs, CI/CD, issue trackers).
  • Strong coding or scripting skills in Python or JavaScript.
  • Experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks such as GDPR, SOC 2, or ISO 27001.

Customer‑facing & soft skills

  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities to explain technical solutions clearly to non‑technical audiences.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills for handling multiple parallel implementations.
  • Creative problem‑solving approach and a customer‑first mindset.

Experience

  • 3+ years in solutions engineering, implementation engineering, or technical account management within a SaaS environment.
  • Background in software engineering or QA automation with customer‑facing experience is highly desirable.
  • Experience managing the full customer lifecycle, from onboarding through renewal.
  • Certifications in cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, etc.) are a plus.

  • CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Collaboration tools (JIRA, Postman, or similar).
